Local, Honest & Experienced

We simply use the highest-quality, most-trusted and most eco-friendly materials on the market – without the technical lingo.

Years of Experience

Starting as a co-owned family business in 2002 - we are still 100% Australian owned and operated, and take great pride in the service we offer.

Long, Genuine Warranties

We offer the best warranties because we are confident in our materials - 10 years for our Pillow, 20 years for our Mattress and a lifetime for our Base.

Our Sustainability Initiatives

Our mission is that we do whatever we can to protect and support the environment.

When we package and prepare our Timber Bed Bases for dispatch outside of WA, we use custom boxes that are all made in Australia from 100% sustainably sourced Australian paper, from Perth company The Box Man.

When dispatching our Latex Mattresses, we use minimal plastics wherever possible, as well as using NO Styrofoam and instead using 100% recyclable bubble-wrap.

For our local Perth customers, if you choose to collect your Timber Bed Base from our Wangara warehouse, we give you your order completely packaging-free to reduce unnecessary waste.

If collecting your Latex Mattress, each individual layer has just 1 protective sheeting.

We use ‘Near Sourcing’ to locally acquire our timber, which saves on costs and harmful emissions that occur from international sourcing.

All our timber suppliers adhere to the following nationally recognised certifications:

  • Australian Forestry Standard (AS4708:2013), which is internationally recognised by the Program for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification (PEFC).
  • Further, all suppliers passed international certification for effective Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001:2015).

Like us, it’s important that we source from other local Aussie businesses to make our products.

Our suppliers are based in WA and Victoria – and are regrown plantations that go through strict eco-certifications for both fair work initiatives and reduced environmental footprint.

To us, all timber is good timber. Each piece tells a unique story with its knots and grains, providing a historical piece of nature. It breaks our hearts to throw it away!

This means, we don’t actively seek out blemished timber pieces during our production process. If there is no structural or durability issue, then it will remain as is.

No two pieces of timber will be the same so our bases can have a slight variation in colour and tone, but we do our best to keep it similar between batches.

Through green energy solutions, our products are sourced only from certified plantations that reduce carbon footprint and adhere to strict eco-regulations.

This applies to both our timber, our latex, and our cotton covers, too!

Our latex from Vietnam is certified by ECO-INSTITUT (Germany) as 100% natural botanical latex with no added petroleum-based or synthetic latex, also meeting strict standards for pollutants and harmful emissions. This ensures there are no additives in our latex that could damage the quality, consistency or healthiness of your mattress.

Further, our latex uses the ‘Dunlop’ method of production due to its lower environmental footprint and durability advantages over the ‘Talalay’ method.

  • Quality tested by eco-INSTITUT®  for containing 100% natural latex rubber free of harmful pollutants and emissions
  • Naturally hypoallergenic that repels dust mites, mould and mildew to fight allergies
  • Durability tested (scoring 100/100) for little resilience or firmness-loss after 30,000 load cycles of 140kg (TUV EN 1957-2012 tested in Netherlands)
  • Sourced from our supplier Lien’A in Vietnam.
  • Additionally, our supplier uses bio-fuel for electricity and has an all-round clean production process (as certified by ISO 14001:2015).

  • eco-INSTITUT Certificate.
  • FSC Certificate.

Our Organic Cotton Cover is sourced from Mumbai, India. With 400GSM of wadding, plus a breathable canvas base, it provides ultimate comfort while prolonging the life of your mattress. Our covers are included with every Latex Mattress purchase.

Our Organic Cotton Cover is certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This certification ensures all processes and materials are without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals – plus also meeting fair work conditions, recycling and more. We source them from suppliers who use certified manufacturing processes to reduce their carbon footprint, just like us.

About Our Natural Bamboo Covers

Why do you have 2 covers?

We are always looking for ways to improve our environmental impact, which is why we switched to our new Organic Cotton Covers as soon as we could – but it meant we have some very good quality stock leftover. Rather than put it to waste, we decided to offer it at a small discount to those who want it. Further, due to worldwide shortages and container delays, we may run out of stock of our Cotton covers, and may only be able to offer Bamboo covers for some sizes.

What’s the difference?

The main difference is our Cotton covers are made of 100% Certified Organic material, although our Bamboo covers were still sustainably sourced and 100% Natural. Both covers feel the same on the latex (acting as a minimal comfort layer to protect and hold the latex in place), both have zips on 3 sides and both are cold-machine washable. However, the Bamboo cover is more stretchy, so it can actually be a little easier to put the mattress together. And you can always switch to a Cotton cover later if you wish, which we would do for half-price (Queen $240 $120 or King $290 $145). Thanks for your support!
