A note about solid timber: As we use 100% sustainable solid timber, all pieces have unique knots & grains. These grains do not impact strength and durability, but adds character and can’t be compared to engineered finishes like veneer (which usually has a consistent finish, although are more prone to chipping and peeling). We also cannot guarantee all timber on the bed to be colour-matched, although we try our best without severely increasing wastage.
Be aware that many “solid timber” products only use some solid timber, which are often combined with native wild-harvested timber or engineered timber like veneer or plywood.

$95 Returns – With so few returns and so many happy sleepers, we’re confident to now offer a full refund minus a return admin fee of just $95 on any bed base or mattress within 120 nights (toppers and side tables included only when purchased with a mattress or base – with no extra return cost). We’ll simply pick up your order for return, or donate it to charity!
Simple conditions apply: Please keep the boxes to avoid any potential extra costs (could be stored flat in the garage). If you are outside our free delivery area and we charged you an extra fee, this fee is non-refundable. Maximum of 1 mattress return and 1 bed base return per household.

Care
- No special care is needed: we use a water-resistant, natural vegetable oil finish designed to protect the timber. Can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap if required.
Free standard tracked delivery to most of Australia, with notifications on the day of delivery (Melbourne & Perth: choose a delivery window at no cost).
Perth Delivery: For deliveries within 1 hour of Perth, we use a local delivery driver, who usually heads out on Saturday’s from 10.00am until early afternoon. An alternate day can be arranged.
Perth Pickup: You can opt to collect your order from our warehouse in Wangara for $100 off per base or mattress. Collection is simple and easy, we’ll notify you when it is ready and you can pick it up during office hours, or at another time by appointment.
New FOUR-IN-ONE "Mattress Gap" Settings!
The total height of the headboard is always 35cm and we now offer FOUR-IN-ONE adjustable “mattress gap” settings with a unique ‘rotatable double-bracket’ design. The “mattress gap” is the height between the top of the bed base and the bottom of the headboard, which looks and works best when this is the same height as your mattress, or slightly lower (i.e. your mattress ‘overlaps’ on the headboard by around 0-5cm).
Basically, you don’t want pillows slipping through this gap, nor do you want too much of the headboard hidden!
Mattress Gap Settings
You’ll notice 2 brackets on the back of your headboard. The entire headboard is also rotatable to give four smart options:
- 15cm (slim mattresses up to 21cm high). With headboard brackets closer to the roof, use the top bracket.
- 22cm (standard mattresses 22-27cm high). With headboard brackets closer to the floor, use the top bracket.
- 28cm (tall mattresses 28-33cm high). With headboard brackets closer to the roof, use the bottom bracket.
- 34cm (very tall mattresses over 34cm high). With headboard brackets closer to the floor, use the bottom bracket. Get in touch if your mattress is over 40cm high.
