Just like our normal 16cm mattress with 2 high-quality layers of organic latex, but with our old organic cotton Standard Cover.
About our Standard Cover
We have some very good quality stock leftover, which we didn’t want to put to waste! The main difference is simply what they look like. Both covers are 100% GOTS-Certified Organic with a quilted finish and offer a slight comfort padding to the mattress. However, our normal Wool covers are a slightly tighter fit on the latex for a more ‘polished’ look, and are fire-retardant. Whereas the old Standard Cotton covers are a looser fit, and the top layer is able to be washed in a cold/gentle cycle too (the new covers are not able to be washed). We think you’ll be happy with either!

Warranty
We will replace or repair your mattress or a layer within it if there is more than a 10mm visible indentation or ‘sag’ in any layer, or there is any other manufacturing defect that is not a result of improper use.
Covers normal domestic use only.
Adding a protector or electric blanket on top is fine and does not void the warranty. An adjustable base is also fine if it fits the above requirements
Bed Base Requirements – A 100% latex mattress must have a firm, flat, aerated base supporting it (like ours). We require at least 1 grounded central support beam for Queens (2 for Kings), while any slats must be spaced 5cm apart or less.
With gaps between slats that are further than 5cm apart,
We have an easy fix should you wish to still use this base in a way that meets our warranty requirements:
- Simply buy 2 of these wire mesh panels from Bunnings ($20 each + $10 delivery if you wish)
- Place them under the mattress like below, where most of your body weight is
This mesh has gaps of just 2.5cm, to significantly increase the support and durability of the latex while maintaining aeration.
You can check more details on our warranty page.
When it comes to mattresses, density = durability + quality. While most ‘mattresses in a box’ use foam with a density of between 15 – 25kg/m3 (which is lucky to last a couple of years) – our latex ranges from 70 – 85kg/m3! Our quilted cover adds roughly 1-2cm of height and 2kg. Below are the dimensions and weight for a 3 layer mattress.
Queen (153 x 203 cm): 45 – 52 kg
Assembly & Care

- For maximum protection, we highly recommend a mattress protector
- The mattress cover and the latex can be spot-cleaned if necessary. Due to the Wool in the cover, it should not be washed.
